Ok so tomorrow afternoon I actually depart with a group of friends on a journey to South Korea.  Well I say journey, but you know, its just a plane flight.  But either way Korea will mark my 3rd country to have visited (including Australia).

South Korean flag

I’ve never shown interest in Korea.  I know NOTHING about the language except that when I hear it I think it’s Japanese but I can’t understand a word.  I’ve never eaten the food, I’ve met like 6 Korean people in my life… But when my buddy Frank approached me and asked: “Wanna go to Korea?”, I replied: “Uh… Sure why not!” – and it was a done deal.

So I have no idea what time I leave tomorrow, but I know I come back on Monday (so… 3 nights) and I’m flying Korean Airlines.  It was only like 300 bucks round trip so it wasn’t bad.

However I did need a “Re-Entry” permit to be allowed back into Japan.  So I went and got that yesterday from the Immigration Bereau place in Osaka in a district/suburb/something called “Cosmosquare”… = |

It cost me 3000 yen, but the stupid thing was that the trip there cost me MORE than the dumb re-entry permit did.  I blew like 6000 yen yesterday, and cried.  The public transport here can get pretty expensive…

Ok so, I’ve got another post all geared and ready to be published over this weekend to keep my fellow fans busy while I’m away.  Then I should have a huge Korea post sometime after I get back, possibly even some video.  Till then…

Ciao for Now!
