So Insinner had our welcome back gig last night.  We did alright, coulda been better but we did well.  After the show James (our producer) gave us all a little debrief and some constructive criticism – luckily there wasn’t too much to be said!  Mainly just small stuff that we can fix up pretty easily.

Ok so here’s a funny story, we believe there is an Insinner curse out to get us.  We pretty much have all odds stacked against us ALL the time, and we joke about it all the time.  So last night was an excellent example of the Insinner curse.

First thing, it rained again! Not that big a deal, but it rains pretty much EVERYTIME we play :\

Second thing, and the funniest thing.  We were driving up to the venue, I was in Lee’s (our bassist’s) car at the front, behind us was Jamie an Jesse (guitarists) then behind them was Brent (drummer).  The highway was packed because of some accidents and yep, it was raining like nothin else.  All of a sudden the car in front of us just stopped! So Lee smashed the brakes and stopped just in time, then BANG! We got rear ended! Me and Lee were like “WTF!?” then BANG another hit!  We turned around and Jesse had smashed into the back of Lee, which pushed Lee forward, then Brent smashed into Jesse which pushed Jesse forward into Me and Lee again!  We just had a Insinner car pile up! LOL the whole band was involved and only the band! it was so funny, next thing i knew my phone started ringing, i answered it and all i hear was “Tell Lee Jesse’s sorry” LOL we had a huge laugh.

Third thing, Jamie forgot his footswitch for his amp – had to switch effects by hand.

Fourth thing, I FORGOT MY KEYBOARDS POWER CABLE!!!!! luckily the sound guy had a spare cable which fit my keyboard perfectly.

Fifth thing, (poor Brent) some guy backed into his car parked out on the road!

And there’s 5 reason’s why we thinks we’re cursed.  We got another gig this Saturday… wonder what’s gonna happen :\

Ciao for now!
