About

Hey guys and gals welcome to my blog!

Quick intro… I’m Jason, I’m 21 years old, I’m a musician and a university student in Brisbane, Australia Studying my Bachelor Degree in Games and Interactive Entertainment. I’m in a band! Last year I joined my brother’s band: Before Nightfall.  They’re heaps cool and a lot of fun, huge potential too!

A few random points about me:

  • I don’t smoke, except for the odd cigar here and there
  • I do drink socially
  • don’t do drugs
  • favourite food is Pizza
  • Scotch’s my poison
  • favourite movies are Lost In Translation (due to Japan theme and Scarlett Johansson *drool*), Saw series, Disturbia
  • favourite Bands are Coldplay and Linkin Park (pre-Minutes to Midnight, but i still don’t mind the stuff off that album)
  • favourite TV show’s are House and Heroes
  • Mauritian background
  • more as I come up with them…

Oh and this wanker below is me:

Me

Now that you know what a wanker looks like, let’s get back on track…

Basically I decided to start this blog because a friend of mine and I are wishing to travel and study for 9 months in Japan as part of a student exchange program. Now this trip to Japan is yonks away (“yonks” = “a long time” in Australian speak for any overseas readers). We will potentially fly over there as soon as August NEXT YEAR (2009)!!1one!

I decided to start blogging about my endeavours the moment I decided to take this leap! So my blog includes everything, from initial thoughts and feelings, getting papers together, selecting which university  I want to go to, saving the cash, finding out if we get into the university etc. etc. Now all that stuff isn’t too exciting, not for me, and not for any readers, I get it… But when we finally make it to Japan, looking back on my thoughts and what was going down a year ago leading up to this life changing experience will be totally interesting… for me anywayz…

But of course i’ll blog other random shite, like when i went skydiving, parties, other random shite etc. etc.

I’ve decided to post my contact information.  So please select one of the Social Networking (Twitter, Facebook, Myspace) sites below (linked directly to my profile) and yeah, add me or whatever and chat away.  Otherwise you can just post comments, which would be the easiest way to contact me.  But alternatively, I mean, Social Networking sites are “Cool” these days and we all know i wanna be “down with the kids” so yep… Just like.. add me… coz it gives me a sense of… Love.  Please… please send me the love.
